monday drag.
sitting in the computer lab like every monday morning this semester…completely dragging today.
my last class starts in 30 minutes and i haven’t read the required chapter. go me.
registering for summer & fall semester tomorrow. i always have this urge to just fast forward through the rest of my time in college. the “fun, slacking, partying, staying up late and forgetting about homework” part of college life is over and done with…i will be going alumni in my sorority in about a month. and to be quite honest, im sick of school. tired of the “college student” label. i am ready to be a teacher, decorate my classroom as over-the-top as possible, and love my kids. oh…and have summers off. :)
im also really really ready to settle down. i feel ive matured so much in the past couple years and im ready to start MY life. and call it my own. so to sum it up, i would love to just fast forward through the next 2 years of my teaching program to the day i get that degree in my hand and can start applying for my “not even close to what we are worth paying” low income teaching job somewhere in this wonderful country. did i mention i will be the cool teacher? i will.
the amazingness of my boyfriend derrick is too much to even explain. he is ridiculously perfect for me. its unreal. never thought id click so well with a nerdy, witty, comic book and baseball obsessed, redhead but…hey, it just happened. ;) its been almost 2 and a half years and things couldnt be more easy and comfortable. never been so happy. its hard to picture a day without him.
so…that will serve as my first text post on this cute little site. i was introduced to it by miss hayley williams from Paramore (best band ever.) and thought jee…this site will make me look like a really good blogger. people will think im good at this. so thought id try to fool you all! i doubt i will have many long posts like this. this is just the jist of whats going on in my life and my mind right now, since you dont know much about me yet.
have a better monday than your morning probably started everyone. how did i know that? everyone knows that monday mornings suck.
